System Design - Existential Risks
The Social, Tech and Governance Implications for Infrastructure Design and Development
The Existential Challenges and Risks
The existential risks related to design and development for both Artificial Intelligence and Quantum infrastructure are global security risks, but for now should remain relatively undisclosed in public forums due to the profound implications on both the social and economic fronts. However, in the greater interest of the public from our perspective, the extension for dissemination of these challenges for the purpose of proper dissemination of sensitive information will be effectively communicated accordingly to stakeholders through strategic collaboration and the enactment of solution-building.
This is important because in a stark contrast to the rapid and unexpected dissemination of Artificial Intelligence. Our approach exemplifies a clear and important understanding of the powerful potential of emerging technologies of AI and Quantum, separately and apart, as it magnifies the very intent of its creation for improving the wellbeing of human life in the protection of consciousness. This is why education is a foundational critical infrastructure at its core for an optimization through learning capabilities as well as an effective assimilation for a manageable evolution within society. Yet, an effective governance here can not be understated.
Nothing is ordinary about these days, and unlike any other period in history, as the entanglement of political leadership, economic advancement and the needs of society weigh heavily on the infrastructure development of artificial intelligence and quantum systems alike. The human rights and civil protection for social safety and ethics surrounding the design and development are existential in nature. The risk perspective for contextual social development in conjunction with advancing the system design and development have gone largely unaddressed in attempts to skirt the geopolitical implications and further muddling the need for truth. Creating new infrastructural systems beyond current AI modelling f prioritized functionality for enhanced security, increased computation, and the safe and ethical pathway must adhere strictly to the theoretical understanding of quantum information science throughout a whole ecosystem development, with also include the development of a quantum internet. This can not be understated, as the social and economic stability for a viable quantum ecosystem is no longer an option to be weighed strategically by the lack of available post quantum cybersecurity needs.
It's time to build because any ideals of a Post-Quantum existence IS to some varying degree Quantum itself. The future of cybersecurity is Quantum, and one where the complex factors around trust must become what is first offered, rather than something that is first given, for a true mutual-ness of exchange. Here, with proper design that is little to no detrimental effect toward the need for digital sovereignty. This is not the case however for any current advent of a Artificial Intelligence system without significant improvements.
As a founder, from the very beginning of my tech journey, I've felt the need to reevaluate the current legality and meaning of the term anti-trust regarding quantum technologies; as here the power of trust is more reflective of a higher order of need for the critical security and protection and the effective delivering what is offered rather than the collective restriction of federal laws that seeks to limit the carry-through of pioneering companies who must first walk through the door for critical advancement rather than for the so called balancing of competition. With a plethora of current legislation revolving around both AI and Quantum, it's not hard to understand why this is important.
But for the most part, there are existential reasonings behind this, as much the debates begin to manifest itself for the full capability as a society to progress in areas of system design and development and too in the importance and spirit of goodwill.
Social and economic stability along with its security trickles down from our leadership, as this is too the case with technology leadership for understanding enough of the technology to effect design efforts for better informing developers for the successful implementation strategies of critical technologies. This risk of imbalance and the reward of balance highlights the relative difference in approach for safe and ethical development highlighting that any irresponsible advancement for sheer computation performance into powerful infrastructures with quantum physics and corrective efforts around error modeling poses significant environmental risks and dangers. Productivity tools and social media application is one thing for quantum code, but critical infrastructure implementations is clearly another highlighting any regard for usage in data centers, the future potential of energy advancement, and advanced weaponry. all of which highlights contradictions that need to be addressed on behalf of its understanding. Yet, today on the reward side for balance, Artificial Intelligence tools are discovering, exposing for the benefit of security, numerous errors in previous coding applications like never before. This is a good thing, because it is here that Quantum and Artificial Intelligence once corrected of errors can finally discover true alignment for digital transformation and digital sovereignty.
